@QasimRashid While often this is “Well, they just have different priorities!” I think it’s worth considering that “evil” is rarely mustache-twirling villainy as depicted in stories. Evil is letting kids starve. It’s separating refugee families at the border. It’s leaving teachers in poverty wages while protecting the rights of the gunmen than shoot up their classrooms.

I’m not saying all GOPers are evil. But evil isn’t some cackling mastermind. It’s a the sum of banal daily decisions like this.
