cannot believe the level of pride I had in myself today:
had to go to the German consulate to renew my son's passport, and brought ALL the required documents (wedding cert, parents' passports, citizenship documents etc.) AND the required copies AND the correct passport photo AND the prepaid registered mail envelope AND the correct, everchanging amount of cash for the application AND the parents passports and EVERYTHING

expecting a congratulatory call from Angela Merkel any minute now

@PhilippBayer Solid, congrats indeed!! meanwhile I emailed photos of those same docs to the Standesamt to get my daughter registered and I’m now waiting to get the Merkel call that bans me from Germany for life
