This is a really welcome ruling by EU Ombudsman which should help to counter #privilegedaccess and logically lead to far more transparency from the Commission when it comes to so-called #BetterRegulation scrutiny of its legislative proposals.

There has been substantial corporate lobbying & political pressure on #REACH revision proposal. We now need to see the impact assessment documents & #REACHrevision proposal itself immediately. Yet more delays will only further play into the hands of the toxics industry.

The regulation of the use of toxic chemicals is very, very important.

They produce cancer.
They produce infertility.
They are associated with mental health issues.
They impact especially low-income communities.
They kill biodiversity.
They disrupt ecosystems.

Toxic chemicals make our lives miserable. Prevention is 1000 times easier than the remedy (ask cancer). Just for a few € in the pockets of alrwady rich shareholders of the chemical industry.
