watchOS/iOS 17 bug? I have a morning alarm set to wake me up, and sleep with my watch on during the night. With the watch and iPhone both set to mute, the watch buzzes to wake me up (i.e., not waking up my wife with a loud alarm). But since the new OSes, the phone now blares its audible alarm. What am I missing? Anyone else seeing this? I feel like I've tried everything.
@jeffcarlson Not seeing this exactly as you describe but there’s something not quite right with alarms that happen once place or the other or simultaneously in both places. I’m thinking it’s tied up in Focus, which has for awhile now not been quite right between Watch and iPhone.
@jeffcarlson FWIW I have similar alarm configuration and it's working as expected.
@techphotoguy Huh, maybe I need to erase the alarm/Sleep setting and start over.
@jeffcarlson the only time I’ve experienced this behavior is when I charge my watch before bedtime and forget to enter the passcode on the watch. Did you set this up in Alarms in the Clock app? Or in the Health app under sleep schedule?
@kerryallen It was set up as a Sleep schedule in prior OSes. Hopefully resetting that will trigger something positive
@jeffcarlson check in the watch app under Notifications/Clock and see if the Push Alerts from iPhone got switched off. Also that the ‘Mirror iPhone alert from’ setting for Health app is on. Good luck!
