Sometimes, I accidentally catch a glimpse of myself and wonder when I turned into the guy from LCD Soundsystem.

@hotdogsladies to me this is an image of a man who is in his corn. Pursuing projects that make him happy without worrying about making it “work” in the obligatory sense.

@hotdogsladies Before you explained that it came from you mishearing something Roderick said, I would have bet a crisp $100 bill that it was an obscure Midwestern colloquialism for "in my element" or "immersed in my work" or, as the kids say, "really feeling myself". I think with some diligence we can get it into the parlance!
