shea stadium in east williamsburg had an isolated mixing booth in the back & their archive contains many, many great-sounding recordings of #nyc music in the early '10s. haven't checked out too many, but intriguing me: peter stampfel & jeffrey lewis, dustin wong (& ecstatic sunshine), eleven twenty-nine, early garcia peoples, early gunn/truscinski, highlife (aka sleepy doug shaw), noveller, oneida/man forever, etc. http://liveatsheastadium.com/archives/
