I'm 51 and I've lived at nine addresses. What about you?
@mrundkvist I am 40 and I have lived at 8, 9 if you count a year I lived at a hotel paid by the company
@luigirenna When I was 40 I was already at my 9th address. (-;
@mrundkvist I’m at 46 and 14, I think. Does the same address count twice if there was a 2.5 year gap in the middle when I lived in another country?
@ollej I did that and counted each address just once.
@mrundkvist I thought it would have been more places before I counted. It’s eight different towns and two countries.
@mrundkvist 47 and 14 (excluding a couple of places where I didn't have my name on the door).
@mrundkvist 51, and ten. But 16 years since my last move.
@mrundkvist
54 and 16 addresses, not counting military service.
@mrundkvist 36 years, 13 addresses. 😱 I crammed a lot of moving into the second half of my existence!

@mrundkvist I'm including college, since I was, technically, living. So, 40 and 17, which feels like a huge number given I'm not a military/diplomat child or anything. Kind of fascinating that 4 were in childhood and 3 after, and the remaining 10 were all in and around college and grad school!

[Edited because math.]

@aehdeschaine Judging from my Fb buddies' response, 17 is not far from the mean for someone your age.
@mrundkvist
Also 51, and seven or eight depending. Even nine if aboard a ship for military service counts.
@mrundkvist
I'm nearly certain I lived at more than nine addresses during my 4 years of university. (At the uni I went to, the dorms were expensive, and the waiting list was more than a year. I couldn't live with my parents or my grandparents, and rents in the area I lived in were rising as fast as an ICBM a second after liftoff.)
@mrundkvist 43 and 6, but the first one I don't have any memories from since we moved away from that before I turned 1.
@maswan Yeah, my young parents bought a house when I was 6 months old. Things were different in 1972...
@mrundkvist My parents were not that young and had decent middle class jobs, but the interest rates around 1980 still made it very exciting to buy a new build row house.
@mrundkvist I'm ≈ 50 and and have lived ≈ 20 adresses
@mrundkvist I live at my ninth place now since 30 years back.
@mrundkvist I'm 43, I lived at 12 different places
@mrundkvist 27, I have lived at 5 different addresses. 6 if I count college
@mrundkvist 40 and 24 addresses in three countries 😂

@mrundkvist

I'm 55 and lived at >25 addresses in three countries.

Last four years at the same address though. Longest ever since moving out from parents.

@mrundkvist I’m 47 and have lived in 13 places, all before I was 30. I was homeless a year during high school and slept on a a couple of couches, so those are not included.

@mrundkvist

54 and 10. I lived at 7 different addresses with my parents before the age of 16 (not always changing exactly by choice), and then since establishing my own residence, each place I've lived has been, at the time, the longest I've ever lived someplace.

@mrundkvist 17 addresses, 8 schools, 4 countries, 2 wifes, 3 kids, 2 cats. Happy about it? Not always. Oh, 64 years
@jolle Sounds like you haven't been bored much though!
