6 months, that's roughly the time since my last Mastodon post, but more importantly, it marks the first 6 months of my company, JDMweb.

So, what have I been up to during these past 6 months?

In a nutshell, I've been assisting around ten companies in managing and streamlining their web production.

Going into more detail, my activities have been organized as follows:

I've helped my clients optimize their production architecture to align it with enterprise-scale operations and make the most of source management tools and capitalization opportunities they offer. #rootsbedrock #satis #composer
I've emphasized the importance of documentation and the culture of corporate knowledge. This has empowered teams, improved onboarding processes, and fostered greater autonomy. #readme #notion #doc
I've noticed the significance of the design handoff phase, a critical step where a web integrator interprets designs and transforms them into web language. Thanks to tools like #styledictionary, aspects of this step can be automated and formalized.
I've assisted clients in formalizing and automating their deployments using CI/CD pipelines. Particularly for web agencies managing multiple projects and teams of developers, this brings significant time savings, responsiveness, and peace of mind. #githubactions #gitlabpipelines #jenkinsblueocean
I had a fantastic opportunity to work with a WordPress agency that fully embraces the #Gutenberg experience. It was a rich experience for me to engage in advanced Gutenberg development, creating an optimal editing experience where the backend closely resembles the frontend.
I also worked on an intriguing project involving interfacing a CMS with business #APIs to fully integrate the website's power into a digital ecosystem.
I shared my technical expertise with partners to compile technical proposal documents for bid responses, including architectural diagrams, cost estimates, workload plans, and timelines.

I supervised a high-traffic website's #newsjacking campaign, selecting services and hosting solutions to handle the increased load and conducting stress tests.

Lastly, I stepped in to rescue an abandoned #gravcms project when a vendor went out of business, revitalizing it, comprehending its intricacies, and ensuring a smooth handover to a new production partner.

These 6 months have flown by, but they have been incredibly rewarding in terms of learning and networking.

If you're facing challenges like the ones I've described in your company, I'd be delighted to bring my energy and expertise to assist you.

So, shall we enhance this web production together?
