Ambled into a Long & McQuade this afternoon. There were about twenty people in the store, staff and customers. One woman - a customer - was visibly (and audibly) very unwell; she was coughing almost constantly. No mask, but she at least mostly coughed into her sleeve, mostly.

This clearly ill unmasked woman who probably had covid wandered through the entire store, coughing, for the full ten minutes I was there, very likely filling the unfiltered air with #covid.

Nobody was masked. Just me.

It's a great time to be a virus. A golden age for infectious agents.

On the Main Street TTC bus going north to Danforth this morning - packed bus, windows closed. Nobody masking. A guy and his two young kids sat down behind me. The guy coughed openly, not covering his mouth, for the entire ten minute ride, chatting away with his kids between racking, gurgling coughing fits.

I had an N95 mask on, fit tested, and just stared out the window, wondering who'll be taking care of his kids once he's been permanently disabled by long #covid.
