Three Gigawatts is a colossal amount of capacity to add to the grid, this is great news.
It’s also very useful to have a diverse range of energy sources contributing to the grid, with a generous amount of hydro to back everything up.

It’s also interesting that the companies are saying how they hope a change in government won’t put investors off investing here.
I can’t see either side not supporting this, although they may not view it as such a high priority.
