So my new phone is presently transferring data from my old phone. Both phones are effectively inoperable while this happens, and I'm ~90 minutes in.

Cellular has been transferred.

My new phone is playing the text message "ding", but I'm not seeing any new messages on any of my devices.

I *think* what's happening is, I'm receiving SMSes, but forwarding hasn’t been set up on the new phone yet, so they're getting swallowed there.

I guess I'll read them in an hour, when the transfer is done.
