Yes, obviously. But the concept of ‘race’ is made up and basing it on science color has even less foundation in biology.

And again, no other country does it. Country of birth, citizenship or cultural backgrounds might be collected, but not ‘race’.

The guy appears to be Hispanic, which is considered “white.”

This is what a white is : White – A person having origins in any of the original peoples of Europe, the Middle East, or North Africa. Most of the people from Latin America are European descendant or mix.
