Streaming companies are truly sparing no expense to make sure people just go back to pirating shows again.

An update on Prime Video

When we launched Prime in 2005, the first benefit we announced to members was free Two-Day Shipping on 1 million items, a revolutionary innovation at the time that transformed the way people shop.

US About Amazon

@elisse Prime is already at the bottom of my streaming service list. It might just go away completely.

I’m generally okay with a discounted ad based tier to make the services more accessible, but they might consider providing some value and fixing their service first.

When we turn on a show and let the next episode auto play it falls back to 480p and starts to buffer randomly till the stream dies. (Apple TV)

@fallenhitokiri I only have Prime because I get it off Amazon Prime. Otherwise I'd happily not have it. They're definitely not going to get more money out of me with their bad selection and technical issues.
@elisse same here - the only show on prime I actually watch is Grand Tour anyway…
