@arstechnica a bit jealous of apple when they did this but nice to hear it's coming to Android!
@arstechnica Then google will use your call to train their AI, right?

Next, I want to be able to OCR to PC, w/"keyboard emulation" so that the app inputs the OCR'd text into whatever program you have open.

So, you could, for example, scan a serial number into an Excel spreadsheet with JUST ONE CLICK.

The OCR App on the phone would have various settings like "Single number", "Sentence", "Paragraph", or, just "all text on a page" etc. With context adjusting onscreen boxes highlighting what text will be entered when you press the shutter button.

@arstechnica omg yes!!!
I've been using my phone as a webcam with droidcam, but it's great to see an official os-integrated option
@arstechnica Finally, its a such a no brainer to use old phone as a webcam. You kind of recycle the device and will get much higher quality webcam :)
