O'Possum@shannoncuthrell @ZachWeinersmith Rudely, I do not have time to read the article right now and am commenting anyway -- the IJ movies were *intended* to use the pacing and tropes of old serials, so the oldness is the point. The formula needs updating, but not for the IJs. Which are done now anyway.
