Not sure how that’s facepalm… the dogs going wild constantly is a pain. It’s not like it’s the same person who had a child with a peanut allergy so how could they know? It’s not like they were being thoughtless or rude.

"Can't control their prey drive" is a bad excuse. You control your dog or you don't deserve to have one. End of story. A dog barking endlessly is the responsibility of the owner to control or get rid of their damn dog.
It isn't hard to teach your dog not to be a nuisance. I've done it before. Blaming the dog because you failed to teach/control it is not correct, and simply shows that you do not have what it takes to be a dog owner.

KerrigorSquirrels with peanuts are a nightmare. They dig up and throw potted plants around in their frenzy to bury their score, then forget where they put it and do more destruction.
I deal with stuff like this about 2 days a week

ivanafterallYeah, not to rain on the HOA meeting in the comments, but I'd be the one spreading peanuts for all the squirrels. I just put cashews in my tree to lure one closer.
VeraxusI have a kid with a peanut allergy and when peanuts started showing up all over the place outside, we asked our neighbors the same thing: please stop giving the squirrels peanuts. We couldn't let the kids go outside in their own backyard.
Thankfully, our neighbors are all generally really nice people and not child-murdering monsters, and actually stopped it.
People: Keep your peanuts to yourself and do not feed wildlife. Both of those things are common sense.
