Watched Minor Party Leaders debate; key takeaways for me:

*Marama Davidson took the night: poised, authentic, knowledgeable.
* Seymour’s policy agenda is libertarian nonsense dogma - that when challenged, exposes its disconnect from reality. This man should not be anywhere near the levers of power.
* Winston Peters “I’m the only adult in the room” schtick is very tired. Davidson, in particular, showed up Peters inherent fractiousness and overly simplistic ‘solutions’.

@NZedAUS also as usual the men dominated the talking time, Seymour just recites low energy incomprehensible rubbish over everyone else and should have been reigned in more, Winston usual bombastic self, Marama and Debbie both maximised their talking time with succinct and clear policy when they got a word in. We need to hear more from them. Greens polling equally with ACT and should have had equal time. Still, much better moderation than Hipkins vs Luxon. #nzpol #electiondebates

@NZedAUS I've interviewed Marama in the past and she works extremely hard to be across policy and the issues. Also, she's a lovely person :-)
