@endali Feels a bit virtual signaly to me. It's a nice win for the projects but the prose is melodramatic.
I think Unity will figure it out in time, they've already walked it back. This industry is infamously a powder keg on a short fuse.
@varx @endali yeah, that’s true and I think it’s a boon for the beneficiaries. I’m happy for them.
That said, when mega-corps do this, it doesn’t land as genuine.
I’m expressing, cynically, that everyone is angling all the time. The announcement in question dripped with self-righteousness IMO.
