Time for #introductions ๐Ÿ˜…

Hi everyone, I am Norbert, a Data Architect and photography enthusiast living in Tokyo. I am mostly going to post travel and daily life photography, topics related to my Japanese Language learning, impressions from cafรฉs that I went to (or newly discovered), and some other random musings. ใ‚ˆใ‚ใ—ใใŠ้ก˜ใ„ใ—ใพใ™ใ€‚

All the photos below were shot on film with a Mamiya 6 medium-format camera.

@norbertwoehnl Hello and welcome to the chikifam! Those are beautiful photos ๐Ÿ˜ I used to walk along that road in Asagaya every evening on the way home from work when I lived in Musashino-shi! Youโ€™ve triggered some great memories ๐Ÿ’–
@pippa Thanks so much for the welcome! Glad that my photo was able to bring back some nice memories for you. This is a great area to walk around, particularly at dusk when all the pub and restaurant lights are starting to light up. ๐Ÿšถ

@norbertwoehnl Welcome โœŒ๏ธ

Great insights/photographs. I'm definitely stuck on your posts ๐Ÿ‘€

@SynthSteph Thank you very much, Steph ๐Ÿ‘‹
@norbertwoehnl Great photos. What film?
@samueljohnson Thanks Samuel! Actually, all of these were shot on different films:
1. Kodak Portra 400
2. Fujicolor Pro 400H
3. Fujicolor Pro 160NS
4. Kodak Portra 800

@norbertwoehnl I haven't used film in ages (though I still have OM4 and OM1 cameras stored, along with lenses; can't bring myself to get rid of them) but interested to see this. Mainly using a phone and Sony RX100 now and still have to master Darktable to digitize my slides (mostly Kodachrome).

@Gargron

@samueljohnson @Gargron Nice! There is still a fairly huge market for used film cameras here in Japan, and you can find pretty much anything (although prices have risen significantly over the last decade). Also a common sight to see people walk around with film cameras, especially in Tokyo.
