My review of the new Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2. While these aren't the flashiest updates, there's some building blocks here that I think will change how we interact with future Apple Watches.

Apple Watch Series 9, Ultra 2 review: quietly the best

The $399 Apple Watch Series 9 and the $799 Apple Watch Ultra 2 feature a new S9 SiP that powers brighter screens, a handy double-tap gesture, and on-device Siri processing. They’re the best Apple’s made — until next year.

@vicmsong mind if I ask one more question? (Apologies, I’m just having time to read your review now!)

Can the double tap gesture bring up the widget stack on the Siri watch face? There’s currently no way to access the new widgets from that face.

(The dozens of us Siri watch face users are feeling very hopeful!)

Thanks!
