Christine SchuhmannHere in Germany there was... no, sorry, still is *sigh* something called an 'Ein-Euro-Job' (basically a 'Two-Dollar-Job') where long-term unemployed people work for one single Euro an hour under the pretence of being helped with 're-integration into the labour market'.
The idea to just pay these people a living wage for the work they do never really occurred to our government.
It's like prison labour, but instead of prison it's unemployment.
Lstn2urmama 🇨🇦@rbreich ...this is all well but it is a majority of things that are not being calculated as who the employer is and what chain is being affected...American standards of wages are so low restaurant servers for example ...NO ONE SHOULD BE USING TIPS AS ANY PART OF A WAGE !
