@Mair_ oversimplified: a way to permissively license copyrighted works so licensees have freedoms to use, modify, copy, share, etc. the work. Often requiring any derivative works to retain a similar permissive license. GPL, CC, et al are all "copyleft" licenses.

@getdizzy I will concede that having a userscript that bypasses Medium paywalls I did miss that was a memebers-only article - mea culpa, but I would argue it's more to do with people not being arsed to open a browser and searching "copyleft troll" with their preferred search engine 😅

The party still gets a major share of the vote in Iceland & Czech, and is a minor parliament seat holder in many other countries.
