In this cute romcom bandaids become a symbol for healing - physically & mentally. The plot is about an overweight, stressed lawyer meeting a personal trainer after breaking up with her boyfriend of 15 years. They did a reasonable job with the weightloss transformation topic & tried to impress on the audience that a healthy inside was the goal.

The acting was outstanding (see comment about Sung Hoon). The leads were great together (loved her in Hometown Cha x 3). You will hate some characters - the ML's family is a mess. The 2nd couple will make you mad, but they have a lot of char. dev. The 3-way bromance is so cute.

There are some weird kDrama logic holes & some noble idiot shenanigans. Overall, it's a sweet, funny drama about healing.

Sung Hoon, whose acting was so-so in "Secret Romance" really did well in "Oh My Venus" & it made me try to find other works with him. I watched a couple and as you will see in coming-soon-reviews, they really don’t show his acting talent. After seeing that he can actually act, I'm wondering what happened in these other shows: "Noble, My Love" & "Are We in Love?”.

I really liked SH in #TheSoundOfYourHeartReboot. He is soon going to be in a drama based on a great webtoon that I am reading. #PerfectMarriageRevenge is going to be made into #StandardProcedureOfPerfect Marriage.

As Princess Bride Grandpa would say: " Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles.." Minus the giants and monsters 😉
