I love Halloween! It's the one time of year that I'm allowed to scare children. All the other times people get upset.
@RickiTarr many years ago, I helped out a charity-run haunted house. They got permission to use an out-of-business mall, setting up room after room going in and out of the old store spaces.
We had a nightmare on Elm Street room. Guests would walk in between two half walls, and see the first Freddy actor cone towards them, then round a corner where there was a second, and around an other, and there was a third.
The effect of Freddy jumping ahead like that really worked well.
It really was. I was working security, so got to people watch. They would giggle at the first one, gasp at the second one, and shriek at the third one.
It was the guest accelerator as they would run into the next room.
