Got a message last week asking why I didn't do analytical posts any more.
1, said everything I had to say.
2, FaceBook, where I wrote those long forms posts, has stomped on that account. Posts that used to get hundreds of shares get a dozen these days. I wasn't sure that writing was a good use of my time when I'd get a thousand shares across three posts, back when: I'm certain it's not for twelve.
3, we're in cartoon times. Oh, very *important* times: if you're not armed you should be. But things are simpler. Republicans used to strive to be plausible. Not honest, no, but believable. Explaining *how* Romney was lying wasn't an embarrassing task.
But Marjorie Greene? Boebert? Gaetz? McCarthy? The current leadership of the Republican Party is dumb as fucking rocks. They're the nastiest part of a murderous death cult of a party.
There's no crime they won't commit, down to the Nazi death camps: only crimes they haven't yet.
"If you're not armed, you should be" isn't easy for many people.
But it is simple.
