OK @ProPublica Nonprofit Explorer fans, we have a nice big update for you: https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/

The search is so much more powerful, and there are charts (!) and icons for various things, and just a slew of improvements all-around. It's really great.

Nonprofit Explorer (home)

Since 2013, the IRS has released data culled from millions of nonprofit tax filings. Use this database to find organizations and see details like their executive compensation, revenue and expenses, as well as download tax filings going back as far as 2001.

@ken @ProPublica the ones I’m worried about didn’t report conflicts of interest. I’m side eyeing a non profit Newspaper who took out a $60k loan from somewhere. Not sure where or why exactly…
