Back in August I took a #Super8 camera and a cartridge of Kodak Vision3 with me to #BornHack in Denmark.

This is the result.

@JennyList Oh the vibe, the powerful vibe. Triggers distant memories of our family cinny films. Beautiful!
@gadgetoid indeed, it's exactly what I wanted.
@JennyList this is outstanding Jenny, thank you! <3
@tykling any time, thank *you* all for the camp
@JennyList
Wow! Nice.
Very retro-cool.
@batmule thanks :) It's exactly what I wanted.
@JennyList amazing!
Have you considered entering the https://www.straight8.net/ competition?
It is for creating short films on a single cartridge. We saw the winners at the BFI a few months ago - a great little film festival.

@Edent I'm very much aware of that competition, yes. I suspect this one would be outclassed by others :)
@JennyList You can watch all the entries online. Some of them are... Well, let's just say I'm pretty sure you could knock them out of the park 🙂
@Edent there's also an entry fee. It includes processing, but it's a little steep.
@JennyList ah, I hadn't spotted that. Soz!

@JennyList loving the 70s camping vibe.

The piano music is a nice touch also

@JennyList wow! thanks for making this! It's exciting how an event from 2023 can look exactly like something from 60s/70s... "The medium is the message" comes to mind :) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_medium_is_the_message

@JennyList fan-tas-tic, thanks!

+ footage and editing is so good I can easily share it with pre-bornhackers and they'll get a good sense of the experience

@korbendallas ah yes, editing :)

It's a continuous film, the whole cartridge. So it was done in few-second shots, no editing at all.
