@sky Save yourself the aggravation and get an Android device. Many of them come in some sort of Purple and if they don't, well that's where paint markers come in.

Also, Apple isn't even a tech company, they're a lifestyle company Buffalo-Billing it in a tech company skinsuit.

@biafrarepublic @sky I use android, a lot (like 2 phones, 2 tablets a lot) and even I can recognize Apple is a tech company. They have some of the best SoCs on the market for example, often beating out Google and Samsung and even Qualcomm.

They are also a lifestyle company, but that isn't exclusive.

@biafrarepublic @sky that's a fun way of saying "I don't know much about Google"

Google has many problems, often the company publicly lies about things, and it isn't the "do no evil" company from years ago.

That said, I prefer open (ish) software to a walled garden, even if that walled garden is better (safer, better privacy, etc) out of the box.
