saraI really shouldn’t open LinkedIn but every so often I do… and it’s like constant bitching about UI and how UI design sucks if there’s no good UX and like, sure… but also like fuck good UX if your product looks like it’s from the early 00s? Like no one’s gonna wanna use it either? Like am I wrong? Why does everyone shit on designers who care about aesthetics? They also usually care about how things work too - these things are not mutually exclusive… anyway
Like I do think this is pure UX-ers who are intimidated by the people who do it all - plus like… I dunno… the likes of Amazon, Google, etc. have all these big fancy UX research teams but IMO they don’t compare to the likes of Apple… who, from my understanding don’t have as heavy UX research presence
I actually think I kinda hate design in the corporate world… it fucking sucks…
