Friends:

A friend (like a daughter to me) is being stalked. The guy has an uncanny ability of knowing where she is. We’re trying to figure out how.

Tech folks: Any recommendations on a good AirTag tracker? (She has an iPhone)

Women: Any ideas/suggestions/relevant experience?

There seems to be a consistent 120 second delay before he gets to where she is. Too consistent to be a coincidence. Cell carrier perhaps? Private Investigator?

(Police etc are in the loop)

Retoots appreciated.

@aijaz If she's got an iPhone, I sincerely doubt he's using an AirTag. I'm sure she's probably already torn the car apart looking for a tracker, but might be worth getting a bluetooth sniffer.

Might also be worth basically MITM'ing herself with Charles Proxy to see if stuff is going somewhere that raises red flags to her…more so than everything that already tracks you for fun and profit

@designatednerd Thanks. Good points. We did try a BT tracker app. And yeah, she did search the car. I really like the idea of the BT sniffer. I really like the idea of Charles Proxy. Thanks.

I wonder if it’s just an old fashioned PI in a car. I know this guy HAS used a PI against her when she got a restraining order.

@aijaz @designatednerd I know that there are some that exist that look like car parts, bolts, etc and can be stuck behind tires or on the undercarriage. If all else fails and you’re not up on what the business end of a car ought to look like, it might be worth letting a mechanic give it a look (I know this because my ex was a piece of work, I’m so sorry she’s going through this and I’ll be thinking about her)
@phoenixashes76 @aijaz @designatednerd imagine a car from Apple now, an iCar (that word be very expensive and barely works) #applesux
