@squiggy except "unknown" here is more like scientists have a pretty good guess of how bad it might be but being scientists they won't say so conclusively until we actually get to that point

It's not even a guess at this point; we know pretty conclusively that long covid is bad for at least two years, which is the longest period it could've been studied at scale
Increased risk of stroke for 6-12 months is known; increased risk of all sorts of conditions at 6, 12, 18, 24 months
