Jonathan WVentured out to see the – mostly minor – damage #SAOLA left in its wake here in Mongkok #HongKong. Our building was without water all morning and is still without any functioning lifts: quite a challenge given we’re on the 18th floor!

@Notactuallyaherring @chailey no, a pile of bamboo scaffolding – commonly used when constructing or renovating buildings in HK. We saw pics on the news the night before: it was strewn across the street then, this is it somewhat tidied up.
