Amazing stuff that I missed, a recording of the audience reaction to the first showing of the Daicon IV intro... during Daicon IV, in 1983!

It's awesome because the audience reacts differently that today's people, since they get all the references. We can also see that the film was actually unfinished, some shots are missing (replaced with placeholders) and the end title animation is incomplete.

Also if you missed it, some people actually remastered the released video from the Laserdisc using the Domesday device (a system that allows to directly digitize the surface of any laserdisc).

@kineko actually scanned the 8mm film release of Daicon III but they were asked by the right holders to suspend re-masterisation efforts, maybe because they're working on their own.
