I liked Silo a lot. Not even close to Severance, but pretty damn good.
Both can easily go down the LOST track if not handled correctly.
@ribeyesoftheworld @Phreba @velvetseawader I am actually friends with people who had a lot to do with LOST and they think they nailed the landing.
They did not!
They blame Disney for forcing them into the unknown by not committing to an X number of seasons up front so they meandered to get where they wanted.
Literally the best start and worst ending of TV ever.
@Jfrites @Phreba @velvetseawader whoa!! No way.
I was obsessed with that show. The hatch and the dharma initiative aspect just blew my mind.
During the entire final season I kept saying ‘they’ll get it right, don’t worry, it’ll be ok.’ Meanwhile my girlfriend was like you are gonna be disappointed, this is obviously going nowhere good.
‘So check this out, we’re gonna have em all meet up at a church at the end and fly off to heaven. Boom killed it!’
@ribeyesoftheworld @Phreba @velvetseawader so DUMB!
And they never wrapped up half of the shit they introduced.
@Jfrites @Phreba @velvetseawader yes and a lot of that shit had such cool set ups too and just to let them go nowhere bleh.
Obviously I’m still hurting hehehe
@ribeyesoftheworld @Jfrites @Phreba like why the fuck are there polar bears
LOST is one of my fave shows of all time (named my dog, Sawyer). So disappointed in the ending but when I tell ppl to watch I stress *just the first 3 seasons.” It’s such good storytelling and character development. But yea no the ending was total shite lol
