I think someone hacked into my lemmy instance server. Having to roll back and move to a different server. Pulling the logs to see what happened but it looks like the server restarted while hostinger was having its usual issues and it didn’t properly start fail2ban and ufw.
Honestly having a panic attack. I have backups and moving things over to hetzner immediately but I feel like I’ve betrayed my entire community. Lemmy has very little data but I fear trust has been completely broken.

geniunely hope nothing bad happened and this is just linux being linux@gavi It's still the early days of lemmy, people expect some issues, specially with lemmy.world constantly going down.
Just fix it, and then be transparent about it. Make a post with what went wrong, and what you are doing to make sure it doesn't happen again.
