The Australian cryptocurrency gambling platform Stake has suffered a massive loss of over $40 million due to a cyberattack, initially reporting losing $16 million from its blockchain wallets on September 4, 2023, followed by a report of additional $25 million lost in BSC and Polygon tokens in a subsequent series of unauthorized transactions. This lead to the suspension of all deposits and withdrawals and raising concerns about the security of user funds across various platforms.
