I would watch a potato sitting on a counter for 2,5 hours if Fincher directed it.

Trent Reznor of NiN is on the soundtrack. Looking forward to it!

Fun fact I found on the Wikipedia rabbit hole: David Fincher was credited as a camera man on Return of the Jedi, and as a photographer on Temple of Doom.

This just keeps getting better and better!
Fincher, Fassenbender, Tilda Swinton and Trent Reznor on the soundtrack. How could this be a no?

Tilda Swinton is one of many actors and directors who signed a petition created by Harvey Weinstein to free Roman Pulanski from arrest. Even after it became widely known that he was in fact a pedophile, she has refused to remove her signature as many other actors (like Natalie Portman) have now done.

Hollywood Celebrities who signed the Polanski Petition

Roman Polanski is a Polish filmmaker who has been a fugitive from the U.S. criminal justice system, since 1978, after pledging guilty to statutory rape of a 13-year-old girl. He fled the country to France before he could be properly sentenced. In 2009, when he was arrested in Zurich, Switzerland, in relation to his U.S. arrest warrant, many famous filmmakers, actors and artists signed a petition, orchestrated by the likes of Bernard-Henri Lévy and Harvey Weinstein, that called for the release of Polanski, saying that the "Film-makers in France, in Europe, in the United States and around the world are dismayed by this decision… It seems inadmissible to them that an international cultural event, paying homage to one of the greatest contemporary film-makers, is used by police to apprehend him." This list comprises only of the celebrities who have been acquainted with the American film industry.
