I was remembering Canter and Seigel.

Today I have been trying to find various professionals "near" Skipton in Yorkshire. The best I found was based 46 miles away, about twice the distance they were willing to travel.

Their website doesn't bother with a map.

Internet mapping is horribly unreliable. My MP has an office address within 500m of where I am right now, but Google can't find it. The whole building is unlisted.

The whole British economy seems full of liars.

Yeah, I am grumpy tonight.

Bing Maps, part of the Microsoft empire, is no better. The location tnat I half-remembered is marked up with a very different address. It's plausible that the local Conservative party uses it as a contact point, but there is no trace of the address listed by official sources.

The recruitment company is listed by Companies House as using a correspondence address in Scunthorpe, and looks to keep records up to date. The map location leads you to a working website which gives an address in Brigg.

They do have an account on #Birdplace but it looks dormant. So I reckon it's a dead end in my search.
