As for myself, I wrote the same number of stories (five) in July and August. I got no "boosts" either of these months. My earnings nearly doubled, but as they were under ten dollars in July, that's not much to write home about.

Conor O'SullivanMy August earnings dropped to about 2/3rds of July's earnings. This seems to be a common trend amongst technical writers.
Some of my older technical pieces drop significantly. One was consistently making over $50 every month. Bearly scrapped $10 last month.
Doesn't seem worth keeping these behind the paywall anymore.
