Kai KatoninaAfter years of working in accessibility I just realized that social model of disability sees disability and impairment as two distinct concepts, where impairments are purely individual attributes, and disability refers only to restrictions that emerge in the interaction with society that does not accommodate.
Ofc it's more of a spectrum rather than a strict binary, but it explains some of the logic a bit better
