Trying to migrate from the world instance but even after resetting my password I can't log in - Lemmy.world

I’m not sure if I ever verified my email or not but I reset my password and it looks like it goes through but I can’t log in, any advice? Thanks in advance! Edit: searched through my emails and doesn’t look like I ever got a verification email, or if so I can’t find it. I originally tried to make this account a few months ago. Typing in the correct password brings me back to the lemm.ee [http://lemm.ee] homepage but I’m not logged in (log in is still in the top right), and using the wrong password tells me “invalid password”
