2) Range anxiety is either a thing of the past, or was only ever a myth made by news columnists, who were useful idiots helping lobby for the status quo. I had 430Km on a charge. This would get me from Halifax to Cape Breton or Fredericton.
3) For almost everyone, there is no reason to use a gas car in Nova Scotia.

4) Many auto sector businesses seem *way* behind the curve on this transition. Gas stations with charging facilities are few & far between, & some motorway services have few or none. But superstores & others are doing a good job of filling this gap.
Companies which refuse to innovate fully deserve to go bankrupt - but as ever, society picks up this bill. As the transition to e-vehicles extends, a huge number of gas stations will need repurposing ($$$) - because they missed the boat.

5) There are a plethora of companies providing charging stations, leasing spaces to all manner of commercial and gov outfits. But it feels like VHS v Betamax in an era of enshittification.
Charging stations providers need to decide what is their product. Is it data about us consumers, or the supply of electricity for transport.
I firmly believe mainstreaming e-vehicles demands contactless payment as the norm, and not a confusion of apps and membership.
