Another instrument being prepared at Ft. Sumner to fly in a balloon during the #NASA fall campaign is #HASP or High Altitude Student Platform, a system designed to carry up to 12 payloads built by students that have been flown by NASA every year since 2006, to flight-test compact satellites or prototypes and to fly other small experiments.

The program fosters student interest in an aerospace career path and helps address workforce development issues in this area.
