We laugh at the obvious hilarity, and Musk can suck my ass, but I just don’t understand what the actual crime is. Companies provide “employees” housing all the time. What business does the government have in saying what the details of that housing has to be?

Well the shareholders have a right to question company being spent on side projects that do not work to increase the value for shareholders.

Sadly you can get away with a lot as a business just don’t piss of your share holders.
