TonyIt’s wild that the best mens thongs you can buy still come from random Chinese companies on Amazon. Why can no American companies get this right??
Okay I think we need a taxonomy here. There are many different styles of thongs, and American brands pretty much only make tanga and Y-back styles. V-back are the most flattering but nobody domestic makes them!

Fortunately there are increasingly more and more US & North American brands that are now starting to offer an assortment of thongs to include the classic V back. N2N, Charlie, Skinzwear, Slick it up, body aware, to name a few. Most of these even made in the US. That last pic, looks like, to your point, like Etalon, a European brand.
ben @ nite🌙@Tony @bootblackcub seems like a lot of US/NA places have focused on jocks as the style for bare-assed men's underwear; I have several cute ones from PUMP and a few other brands, but for thongs… not a lot. Rips used to be good but I think they folded.
I hesitate to say "cultural reasons" but I think there's something there? American underwear tastes are strongly grounded in image, and jockstraps have that athleticism vibe.
Propriety@Tony yeah the fetish wear market as a whole is really strange. Feels like there's sometimes a huge gap. Even when it gets filled it's like, piecemeal. One place will do a run of something, sell out, and then that's it!
