Android also scans your texts and emails 🤷🏾‍♀️

I used to be THEEE Google gal. But don’t be evil was of course BS.

Privacy advocates raise concern over Google's access to Messages and Phone metadata

Don't worry, no one's reading your texts

Oh and also note I did not say “for ads” that process is “automated” AS IF THAT MAKES ANY DIFFERENCE TO ME lol when the point is access of my data.

Google Will Keep Reading Your Emails, Just Not for Ads

@Tinu Ughhh 😫 Does this mean I have to go back to iPhone? I really like my Samsung.
@iamspialelo @Tinu What we do need are regulation and antitrust enforcement. Apple has a huge monopoly in terms of market share in the US and it's only going to get worse.

@iamspialelo @joeo10 They Ned to beak up Google, Apple, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon and maybe Walmart too.

I love Apple but it’s a Samsung on the inside. There nothing ring with Samsung phones.

I refuse to be exclusively on Apple OR Google’s side because it doesn’t put a single extra dollar in my pocket. I feel like I can like thing without it being my personality. 😂

@Tinu @joeo10

I have an iPad and a Samsung phone. Whenever someone makes a comment about my green text bubble on their iOS, I just go "🤷🏽‍♀️ oh well". Each serves a purpose until something I like better comes along.

@iamspialelo @joeo10 People are doing that in real life. Like if you need to mind business that ain’t yours, worry about micro plastics?

🤣 No one gets old and is like, “I wish I spent more time needlessly paying attention to people I don’t like to the level of harassment instead of being present with the people I love or failing that go in vacation.”

Is harassing people like crack???

@Tinu the day they took it out of their official policy I cackled because I'm just imagining them saying "We reserve the right to be evil if we have to" during the discussion on the issue
@Tinu I remember a former (not because of this) friend gushing to me about them and about "don't be evil" in particular and she was sooooo offended when I was skeptical about it. Acted like saying "idk, it feels just like a marketing thing to me, but we'll see" was a moral insult to her specifically. (Yes she is) Part of me wonders if she still stans them now (the rest of me is glad to never deal with her ever again).
