I got my #35mm film developed from a recent trip to #Vietnam. This beautiful spot is the cafe apartments in Saigon.

In the 60s these were apartments for government and military officials, then eventually shipyard workers.

Today, each apartment has been converted into its own cafe, bar, shop etc. We had a donut in one, coffee in another and a cocktail amongst vinyl and assorted pets in another.

Definitely worth a visit.

@Ellie wonderful. My wife is going to Vietnam for work in the next couple of weeks. Is there any interesting and unusual spot that you would recommend?
@botolo86 There's a bar in this building called P Room that we enjoyed! One of my other favourites in Saigon for very authentic street food style dinner was this tiny chicken shop called Cơm gà xối mỡ Su Su. If she has time she should do a food tour though- there's so much to try!
@Ellie That building emanates charm and history. I even stayed in an Airbnb in the building at one point... but I wouldn't recommend it (way too noisy and they lock the front gates pretty early).
@SpectralCodex Hey that's cool! It's definitely right amongst all the nightlife and excitement of the city. We found a really cute bar at the back too, so we came back in the evening to visit that as well.
@Ellie What a neat concept! Great shots, too!
@wonderwoman78 Thank you! It's such a fascinating idea and just really fun to explore.
