The impressive ruins of Urquhart Castle on the shore of Loch Ness near Drumnadrochit. Dating back to the 1200s, it possibly stands on the site of a Pictish fort visited by St Columba in 597 and is an ideal location for Nessie spotters. @UndisScot a fantastic place to visit, it was really busy when I was there so I missed out the crowded indoor visitor centre, but the castle and its grounds are amazing
