But never before Donald Trump have we had a president who combined all these qualities.

@rbreich well it’s the hubris really. GWBush did way more long term damage to the country, because he surrounded himself with competent people who could accomplish things. Trump can’t stand people smarter then himself so he has to surround himself with idiots who are incapable of getting anything done in a complex bureaucracy. Trumps own hubris may have saved us all.

George W's friends made massive money off of Iraq war contracting (crook), was incompetent and Karl Rove on his behalf helped get state constitutional amendments on ballots to ban equal marriage (bigot), because he thought it would help re election chances.
