So Keystone Electronics makes these 26650 battery holders that sit in a cutout in the PCB to try to reduce the overall height. That's great and all, except their drawing doesn't show how high the battery will extend above (and/or below?) the holder itself. The holder is only 18.42 mm tall, so where does the whole 26 mm diameter sit with respect to that?? Also their SSL/TLS certificate is invalid, hence the digikey link. #LiFePO #Lifepo4 https://www.digikey.com/short/mtccm4qw
I might have to throw a 26 mm diameter cylinder into their CAD model to try and figure it out.
Ah ok. Their official drawing doesn't say at all, but the drawing on their catalog page shows that the 26 mm starts all the way at the bottom of the socket, and the radius of the battery extends out the top. That's what I would have figured but you can never assume these things.
